From electricity and transport to communications, wastewater and drinking water, all are at risk from a volcanic eruption. However, preparation and protection are the paths to mitigation. A suite of 10 posters has been created to boost infrastructure resilience. Working together, critical infrastructure managers, government agencies and volcanic scientists have translated impact research into practical management tools for poster use. While developed for a New Zealand audience, they can be easily adapted for the world stage.
